'Keep it simple, stupid.'
That is the most important thing this picture taught me (or rather, beat into my brain over and over). This picture took AGES, but it was my own fault. Full colour is pretty new to me, and I tend to overdo colour layers, shading layers, etc. It actually looks worse the more you add, in this particular style. And then... you might have to fix that grey fur again. And again.
And so, brain mulched by mistakes and eyeballs twitchy from staring at the computer, I present to you... Bring the Raaaiiin!

Oh, I will say: I love airbrush. Airbrush is da BOMB. It's the tool that makes those lights fuzzy and the soft light on the two guys in the pic - if you want to make stuff look instantly better, USE IT.

I'm sorry if the blood offends anyone. But you don't win a fight on Carcerem Island without a few marks to show for it.
For those of you who are wondering, I am still going to release the short story written by one of my readers and based in the world of The Meddler. I just haven't got around to it yet. Later this week looks good.
