Ladies and gents, I am almost done my front covers for books 2 and 3! I'm VERY excited about it.
To be fair, I plan to change the characters on Book 3 to a colouring style that matches the other two. I could be done, but I'm not going to be done, not just yet. I've posted my various efforts just because. Aren't they fun??
It's been a minute since my last post, hasn't it? See, the thing is, I am no longer motivated by marketing schedules, so I'm just going to take my time making the covers perfect, and when they're exactly how I want them, I will print them. During most of 2023 I was exerting great effort to maintain a post-per-week schedule of weekly reading releases (and art, too!). But about 5 weeks away from the end, I suddenly realized I was doing it (yet again) on my own steam. I hadn't asked God about it. When I did, the answered seemed clear to me - my efforts were only exhausting me, and not producing any of the results I had hoped. So I torpedoed that marketing plan, deleted everything I had released up to that point, and now...
Well now, I don't really have a plan. And that's ok with me!
Incidentally, I am still creating lots of art and stories and having A LOT more fun doing it. And I will probably, most likely, keep posting stuff. I'll definitely post when I'm officially printing physical copies of Book 2 and Book 3 of the trilogy. Well I'm pretty sure, anyway. Who can say? I sure can't because I don't have a plan! Hahaha! Like the genie in the end of Aladdin, I'm free!
